Clinical Event Adjudication CEA is an independent classification, i.e. adjudication, of clinical events. For each clinical event, relevant data such as EKG and lab reports are collected into medical records, and converted to electronic "event packages", which are then reviewed by specialists. Each individual event is examined independently by two physicians who classify according to predetermined study-specific definitions.
